The Wayne Gifted Program is dedicated to implementing techniques and methods that apply constructivist practices through an active, inquiry-based, enrichment curriculum rooted in critical thinking and problem-solving. The Gifted Program�s inquiry approach to gifted education promotes the development of social competency, communication abilities, thinking processes, aesthetic appreciation, and independence. The WGP staff has worked diligently to incorporate and support curriculum compacting, problem-based and project-based learning. The WGP staff believes in fostering student involvement and cooperation, in addition to establishing a productive learning environment.
